Your a GREAT GUY Bill!!!! It seems to me prices are reasonable throughout Mexico. Wherever you are, there's opporutities. Buying property can be cheap even in resort areas, but you have to be creative in locating deals - e.g., for real estate you need only fine a barrio you like and perhaps not too far from the desired areas - as the area grows you should be just fine.

@sesomnoslen5729 Facts are facts. And the quality of life in America is deteriorating. The Big Guy and his VP didn't reverse the economic stress, but, instead accelerated it. Fact. Moreover and frankly, Trump won't "make America great again", either. I know these are negative facts, yet reality is what it is. And that's why I subscribe to this channel, because Bill has years of experience "living in Mexico".... And as the American dream turns into a nightmare, I want one foot in Mexico and the other in America in order to preserve my quality of life by having the best of both countries. Even if the best isn't great like how great America used to be when a nice house cost $30,000 and a good used car was $3,000 and three tacos were 99 cents.... In my opinion Trump is a far better executive than Kamala will ever be. But, believe it or not, I want to see Kamala as President so everyone who voted for her can watch America crash and burn under dimwitted executive leadership. Sorry if I throw verbal ice water in your face, but people need to wake up.

I suggest working on your delivery, pick up the pace and instead of making those facial bug-out eye expressions, go to a map and show the location so people see where you are going. Not sure about coming back. Keep in mind the audience has a limited time here. This is a very interesting site worth exploring. I wonder how many minutes you spent looking up available published papers on this place. It would guide you to ask pertinent and useful questions . Mexico sits on an elevated plateau over 3,000 ft . It looks flat but keep in mind this is desert conditions. I picture more trees in the past. Take care....

The rent may have risen quite a bit since 2021, however Mexico is still relatively cheap. You can still get good prices if you look for what you need and not the largest house you can find. For one person or a couple, 1brm should be adequate. Why do you need 3 brms? Unfurnished is always cheaper. provided you are going to stay for at least 1 year. You can buy a bed, a fridge and sofa all for as little as $1000, and shave $200 to 300 off your monthly rent. There is always someone moving back, you buy a few things from them and to get started.
I rented a very nice, fully furnished apartment in Puerto Vallarta for 5 years, this was about 15 years ago and I was paying $400 a month US. That was 15 years ago. Yes, prices have gone up. Now I am renting a wonderful fully furnished apartment in Morelia and I am paying $471.00 US per month. That is not a big increase over a 15 year period. Best, Bill

Hi There, I rented an AirBNB and up front I told the AirBnb contact that I wanted to find an apartment in Morelia and, I asked them to help me. My AirBnb contact found me 5 different apartments, and I found my apartment through him. Worked very well. Best, Bill

Hola Memo! Thought I'd send you out a "Howdy! Looks like you are getting settled into your new digs. It's a beautiful day here in Ensenada and I just got home from a quick surf and a fish taco lunch. I changed from shorts and slipped into my sweatpants and decided to check my Weather app for temps in some of the places I have friends living. I had to let you know that today (29/7/24) in Mazatlan at 2:30, it's 93 degrees with a "Feels like" temp of 115 with the humidity! Mucha suerte desde la hermosa Ensenada!😎🏄🌮🍯

Great video from Morelia Bill! You truly were in the middle of El Centro. Sunday mornings there remind me of what I have seen in Guadalajara, with families coming out to walk, jog, bike, roller board, in-line skate though town. It has a big city feel and I like it a lot compared to Mazatlán. Enjoy it to the fullest! I'm spending some time with my son in Newark, Delaware before I head off to Iceland and Spain for ~3 months in August. Keep those amazing videos coming Bill!😉😊💓

If you think you’re going to move to Mexico and not pay taxes on your income in America you got another thing Coming, you must pay taxes and US on your income no matter where you live.
You are so right. The bad thing is that for the last 20 years I have to pay DHL or UPS $50 US to overnight my tax returns to the US. But, I do it. That way, the US has to sign to show that they recieved the forms. Got to be legal. Best, Bill

Hola Dora! Crime? I moved here from LA a few years ago after over 40 years of surfing and remote beach camping and have been in Bakersfield plenty of times. Most anywhere in Mexico is safer than living where you are. A quick google search- "In Bakersfield, the crime rate stands at 4519 per 100,000 residents, surpassing the national average by 94%" The violent crime and property crime rates have just as bad numbers. It has a safety rating of "F" Buena suerte!
